Project Process
I believe communication and clarity is key to building successful partnerships. Below I have broken down each section of the client process so you can get a better idea of what goes on behind the scenes.
Kick Off Call

Before creating a custom service, tailored to you, I like to hop onto a quick call with my potential clients to discuss the scale, deliverables, timeframe, and budget of the project. This introduction is your chance to tell me what you are looking for and want to achieve.
Proposal

Once I have created your service and created an achievable timeline I will send you a proposal which highlights what is included and the agreed quote for project. Once approved I will send over an agreement for you to read through and sign which will begin the project.
Design Process *

This is the fun bit! Once you have the signed the agreement I will begin the design process we’ve outlined together to identify and develop a primary direction to take the project. Throughout this process I will keep you updated
on each stage stated below.
Main Presentation

I am now ready to present my work. I will create and talk you through a presentation, explaining my thoughts and meaning behind every step of the design process, up until how I got to the final result. I will then incorporate it into mockups to help you visualize how it can be used in the real world.
Feedback & Revisions

This is the stage where you can send over feedback! Depending on the amount of revisions required I will go back through my process and build upon my ideas, further redefining the project to your liking before presenting.
Finalise & Support

Once you have signed off the final design, I will prepare a finalised package for you and send over all the files in a clear and organised folder for you to use, as outlined in our agreement. I also offer further support after the project for any questions or problems you may have, feel free to ask anytime!
Design Process *
Below you can find the guide to my design process that I use to take a creative project from concept to completion
Brief Breakdown & Research

I start by thoroughly analysing the brief, that we discussed together, breaking it down into key points that guide my research. This research helps me gain a better understanding of your audience, competitors, and industry which I use to shape my decisions at every stage.
Mindmapping & Moodboards

Using key words I have identified from the brief, I create mindmaps and moodboads to identify related words and visuals. This process is important in building my understanding of the project and idea generation. I’ll often refer back to these documents to further refine the project towards the end
Initial Ideas

Using my analysis, research and mindmaps I roughly sketch as many ideas as I can, helping translate my thoughts onto paper. Once I have developed a range of ideas, I will go back through and highlight key ideas that have potential to be developed digitally.
Development

This stage is where I leap from paper to computer. I refine and develop key ideas to constantly evolve the design and ensure that it meets the brief. Usually I experiment with multiple variations of each concept until I find the winner, which I will then use in a presentation.
Presentation

After landing on the final design(s), I incorporate it into mockups to help you visualize how it will look when used in the real-world. I then create and present the results, taking you on a journey from initial ideas and research to experimentation and development.
Finalise/ Feedback

If I have nailed it first time, great! However after the presentation I am happy to receive feedback which I will use to build upon or redo the design, depending on the amount of revisions we had previously agreed upon.
