  • The Banks Foundation is a non-profit organisation, founded by entrepreneur Simon Banks, with the goal to provide young people a chance to create their own business. Through recognising entrepreneurial talent early, TBF helps students nurture skills that cannot usually be taught in further education. 

  • To create a sense of trust, safety and professionalism through a visual identity that appealed to a students and young people. With this identity, the client aimed to showcase how TBF can provide a reliable, fast-track way to start and fund a successful business through building on entrepreneurial talent.

  • To show progression and the opportunity to reach new heights through The Banks Foundation, I created a sense of movement which provided a reliable way to reach point A to B. With point A being the current level of an individual and point B representing the final outcome of creating and maintaining a successful business.

  • Building on the theme of movement, I developed several concepts before settling on a rocket ship breaking through the atmosphere. Rockets symbolize speed and a journey into the unpredictable and intimidating expanse of space—much like starting a business. The logo reflects how TBF can guide entrepreneurs toward their goals, while reinforcing trust and security, through a padlock hole used as the rocket's window.

  • I designed a color palette that unifies the identity, emphasizing trust, reliability, and dependability. Blue was chosen as the primary color to reinforce these values while maintaining a professional tone across both digital and printed materials.

    To complement this, I selected a sans-serif typeface that conveys a modern, approachable feel, aligning with the brand's focus on education and personal growth.

  • I designed a clean and impactful promotional assets for use across social media posts to billboards near schools, colleges, and universities, targeting the younger demographic during their daily commute for repeated brand exposure.

    Centering on the mission and headline "Elevating Futures," the identity highlights how The Banks Foundation nurtures talent within businesses that inspire the younger generation. This includes case studies, workshops, presentations, and exhibitions to reach a broader audience. Each asset incorporates the logo's sharp lines to build upon the theme of movement and guiding the audience toward their goals.
